Pearls Bridal Pearls and Pearl Trends
By Mike Smith

Pearls are one of the most popular gems to see on a glowing bride on the day of her wedding. Not only are pearls beautiful and one of a kind, they have also historically symbolized qualities that embody a woman on her wedding day. A lot of happy memories like weddings and engagements are often associated with jewelry.

It is thus a heart breaking experience when jewelries do not last. Sometimes the luster goes away, sometimes the gems fall out and sometimes the whole thing just falls to pieces. This is often a problem with necklaces because only a thread of some kind is holding it all together and it can break over time. But sometimes even pendants detach themselves from their holds; chains break in to pieces. Jewelry with links are especially vulnerable to this because links are the structurally weakest areas that hold the entire thing together.

It sure is frustrating when this happens and with so much emotional investment in the jewelry, it
